uhhh we all love hot chocolate, isn’t it? Hot and chocolate sounds too good and for anything chocolaty, it is a sin to say no to. Also you may be someone who doesn’t love hot chocolate and it is totally fine, I understand you, because not all hot chocolates are made same and not all hot chocolates are made healthy 😀 And what if I tell you that this recipe is vegan, refined sugar free and simply too good to die for 😉 Shall we call it death by hot chocolate?, lol 😀 I mean, some easy yummy healthy hot chocolate is simply a great idea for any occasion and if you are a chocolate lover, this recipe is just what you need 😉 Come on, let’s get started!

Vegan Hot Chocolate (Refined sugar free)

Ingredients
Cashews – 2 Tbsp Â
Powdered jaggery – 2 Tbsp / sweetener of your choice (Adjust as desired)
Cocoa powder – 1 TbspÂ
Hot water – 3/4 – 1 CupÂ
Water – 1/4 cup
Directions
- Soak 2 tbsp cashews in regular water for 2 hours. If doing instantly, soak cashews in hot water for 15 mins. Discard the soaked water and to the blender, add soaked cashews, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp jaggery powder and blend well with 1/4 cup of fresh water and make a fine paste.
- In the meanwhile, boil 3/4 – 1 cup of water separately.
- Now to a cup, pour in the blended mixture of cashews, cocoa and jaggery and add hot water and stir well.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
